Bio
Toni F. Monroe is a highly accomplished professional in the fields of counseling and clinical mental health. She currently serves as a Therapist at the Georgia Assessment and Therapy Enterprises, LLC, in Griffin, GA. She is nearing completion of her PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision at Mercer University (2018-2025) and holds an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution (2015-2018). Additionally, Toni earned a BS in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University (2013-2015) and an Associate of Science in Psychology from Georgia Perimeter College (2010-2013).

With over two decades of experience, Toni has held several leadership roles, including her current position where she oversees clinical leadership, policy direction, and quality assurance across various treatment programs. She also provides clinical supervision and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Previously, she was the Executive Director where she managed clinical programs, compliance, community partnerships, and provided licensed therapy services through online virtual platforms. As a Narrative Interviewer with Mercer University, she utilizes Narrative Therapy approaches to capture community and cultural experiences.

Toni holds several certifications, including Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II), Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADAC), National Certified Addiction Counselor II (NCAC-II), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Toni has actively contributed to the academic community, co-presenting at conferences such as the Narrative Matters Conference in Enschede, Netherlands, and Atlanta, GA. Her extensive education, professional experience, and dedication to clinical excellence establish her as a respected leader in counseling and mental health services.
